One of our team has been invited back to speak to a specialist interest group of forensic investigation students about mass fatality operations. During the 4 hour talk, attendees were taught fundamentals of disaster response as well as factors and issues that can arise during an incident that are often not thought of or over looked.

Our team was in attendance to this years BAHID conference held in Manchester. Speakers included internationals discussing victim identification from mass fatality incidents; drone technology and its use in crime scenes; facial recognition software and identification.
It was a highly enjoyable and very thought provoking weekend with huge amounts of potential research and future collaborations.

We are looking forward to be advertising our courses and consultancy at the 2018 Taphos-nomos conference, the first dedicated taphonomy conference in the UK. In addition to this, our very own director, Jonathon Brook will be presenting the work conducted in conjunction with Forensics Connect and his PhD at the University of Leicester.
INTEGRITAS GLOBAL CONSULTANCY FORENSIC SEMINAR (IGC) AT THE FIRE SERVICE COLLEGE

Forensics Connect attended a seminar hosted by Integritas Global Consultancy (IGC), a company that is delivering scenes of crime training to police forces nationally and internationally. We were fortunate to deliver a short presentation as to what we do and what the future holds for the research, consultancy and training of Forensic Connect. In attendance were over 40% of UK Police Forces.
